Please note that this article is about making money with affiliate marketing. This topic is fully covered in 2 products I would highly recommend: fast track cash and cb wealth maker. Now let’s get into it…

The internet is a powerful marketing medium but it is only one of many. In fact, using only online methods to promote your products and services is pretty bad business sense. There is so much changing in online marketing right now that it would be sensible to mix offline methods into your business; not only will it become more stable but there are more opportunities available to market.

True marketing includes any advertising channels that can generate leads and buyers at a profit so if you are not including offline marketing then you aren’t doing what real marketers do. Making sales is not an option when it comes to running a business so don’t exclude any marketing opportunities. And in order to meet your goals and pass them you need to consider offline marketing as the logical solution. Offline marketing is very simple and you see it all around you; lets look at a few examples.

Consider the classifieds section that is in the back of most newspapers. There are many online classified sites, the most popular is probably Craigslist. Why not place a classified ad in a traditional newspaper as well? Some marketing experts claim that a good offline ad can get more than ten times as much attention as one placed on an online site. The classified ad in your newspaper might cost you some money, but when you think of all of the sales you are creating, isn’t the cost worth it? Newspaper classifieds will bring all the people who don’t own computers, while at the same time if they want to order something from you online they can always use a public computer!

Try leaving your business card in books at the library. This one is easy, one way to target prospects is to visit your library and bookstore and leave the cards in books that pertain to your niche. These places don’t want you doing this but if you are in a larger building then you will probably go unnoticed. There’s should be no concern about getting into trouble with the law; if you get caught they will only tell you that you are not allowed to do that.

Place an ad in the phone book. Most online marketers never consider advertising in phone books. It is often said that when people are looking for an address or phone number that they will search the internet instead of picking up a phone book. But there is an upside besides all of the large phone books also publish an online version.

You can benefit from placing ads in both! You can get a ton of traffic by making sure you get your link in both version. Phone books are still very effective.

Marketing offline opens up many new traffic sources to you. You just need some creativity, some patience and some willingness to spend a little bit of money. As an internet marketer you become used to spending so much of your time on the internet that you forget that everybody else doesn’t. For years, the top internet marketers haven woven offline techniques into their online online enterprises, and they never would have made it there if they had ignored offline marketing. Why not take advantage of every audience that is available to you?
